What we liked
- + A 150mm mirror collects far more light than a 100mm tabletop scope, which suits galaxies, clusters and lunar detail.
- + The listing includes 25mm and 10mm eyepieces plus a 2X Barlow lens for a stated 26X to 130X magnification range.
- + German equatorial mount with slow-motion control cables and a tripod, plus phone mount, moon filter and carry bag in the kit.
Trade-offs
- - Larger and heavier than the Zhumell Z100 it replaces, and this listing sits at a higher price tier than that tabletop scope.
- - HETEKAN is a lesser-known brand, and an equatorial mount takes more time to set up and align than a simple tabletop base.
