What we liked
- + 130mm aperture with fast f/5 optics and a 650mm focal length for the Moon, planets, galaxies and nebulae
- + Built-in WiFi and full GoTo via the SynScan Pro app, so a phone points the telescope for you
- + Freedom Find dual encoders let you move the tube by hand while the mount keeps its alignment
Trade-offs
- - Noticeably pricier than a manual 130mm tabletop reflector, so skip it if you are happy to star-hop
- - Needs a sturdy table or stand and a phone with the app, and the listing highlights do not cover power
