What we liked
- + 130mm aluminized mirror shows bright galaxies, nebulae and star clusters
- + Equatorial mount lets you track objects smoothly once polar aligned
- + Adjustable tripod gives full-height viewing without needing a table
Trade-offs
- - Equatorial mount and polar alignment take practice for new observers
- - Tripod can feel shaky compared with a solid Dobsonian base
