Seat height range is the specification that decides whether a chair is usable with your telescope, and it has to be checked against your own eyepiece rather than against a general idea of comfort. A Dobsonian is the hard case: pointed near the horizon its eyepiece can sit around 20 inches off the ground, and near the zenith the same scope puts it at 50 inches or more, so a chair adjusting from roughly 8 to 34 inches covers the low and middle part of that sweep and you will still be standing for anything overhead.
