What we liked
- + 80mm aperture at f/6.7 is a compact, fairly fast refractor for wide lunar and planetary views
- + Eyepieces plus a 3X Barlow give listed powers of 24X, 60X, 72X and 180X from a single kit
- + Comes with a phone adapter, wireless remote, carry bag and tool-free setup, all at about $90
Trade-offs
- - The mount is a basic AZ tripod, so it will not track objects and may feel light at higher power
- - The listing text is loosely worded and gives few details on glass type or coatings beyond multi-coated
