What we liked
- + 80mm aperture with a fully coated glass lens, a step up in light gathering from 70mm travel scopes
- + Two eyepieces (20mm and 9mm) for 30x and 66x, plus a 5x24 finder scope with a crosshair
- + Ships with a bag, adjustable tripod and phone adapter, and the listing says it is easy for beginners to assemble
Trade-offs
- - Top magnification is 66x with the supplied eyepieces, and the listing highlights mention no Barlow lens
- - EACONN is a lesser-known brand, and the mount is described as a rough adjustment gimbal, not a fine-motion head
