What we liked
- + 8mm to 24mm range replaces several fixed eyepieces
- + 7 element 4 group design aims for sharp images across the zoom range
- + FMC coatings improve light transmission and contrast
Trade-offs
- - Field narrows at the long end of the zoom
- - Zoom eyepieces are less sharp than good fixed focal length eyepieces
