What we liked
- + Tabletop Dobsonian design sits on any steady table, with no tripod to carry or set up
- + One of the lowest-priced tabletop telescopes in this guide, which suits a first scope or a gift
- + 2-year US warranty and unlimited support from Celestron's US-based team, per the listing
Trade-offs
- - The listing highlights do not give aperture, focal length or the included eyepieces, so check the full specs
- - Sold as a first scope, so the 130mm and 150mm tabletop picks here are the better choice for faint targets
