What we liked
- + No compass means a clean, uncluttered view for general spotting
- + 7x50mm optics provide bright low-light performance at dawn and dusk
- + Simple waterproof design has fewer parts to fail at sea
Trade-offs
- - Lacks the bearing compass many sailors want for navigation
- - Porro prism body takes more space than compact roof prism pairs
