What we liked
- + Backpack included, so the tube, tripod and accessories travel together
- + Astronomy software bundle helps new users plan what to look at
- + Very light kit is ideal for flights, hiking and camping holidays
Trade-offs
- - 50mm aperture is tiny, so night views are mostly the Moon and bright planets
- - Lightweight tripod struggles in wind and at anything beyond low power
