What we liked
- + 7x50 is the classic marine format, with a wide, steady view on a rocking deck
- + Waterproof Porro prism body survives spray and rain on the water
- + Large exit pupil keeps images bright at dusk and at night on the water
Trade-offs
- - No compass or rangefinder, so navigation extras need other instruments
- - Porro design is bulky to stow in small boat cabins
