What we liked
- + Doubles as a digital camera for daytime landscapes and wildlife on trips
- + Compact all-in-one body slips into a daypack with room to spare
- + App-driven operation keeps the learning curve short for new users
Trade-offs
- - Wide, small-aperture optics are best for large nebulae, not tiny galaxies
- - Plan battery and storage needs ahead for long observing nights
