What we liked
- + ED glass and fully multi-coated lenses are listed for brightness and true color across the zoom range.
- + Dual focus knobs allow quick coarse focus and precise fine adjustment on distant targets.
- + Argon-purged, waterproof and fogproof body with rubber armor and a rotating ring and twist-up eyecup.
Trade-offs
- - Sits at a clearly higher price tier than the SVBONY SV46 it replaces, so it is a step up in cost.
- - Listing is aimed at hunting, birdwatching and target spotting rather than astronomy, so sky use is secondary.
