What we liked
- + Extra-low dispersion glass is there to suppress color fringing, for sharp images with true-to-life color
- + Eyepieces are threaded to accept 1.25 inch astronomical eyepiece filters, one for each side
- + Fully waterproof and nitrogen purged, with rubber armor, a rainguard and a padded carrying case included
Trade-offs
- - No tripod in the box, and binoculars of this size need one for steady views of the night sky
- - The ED glass puts it well above the price of the standard 20x80 models in this guide
