What we liked
- + Handheld tripod kit steadies the view for phone photos and longer looks
- + Waterproof build copes with rain and damp grass
- + 12x50 optics gather good light for dusk and nature viewing
Trade-offs
- - Mini tripod is low and needs a table or rock to be really useful
- - Monocular field is narrower than binoculars when scanning the sky
