What we liked
- + UHC passband darkens the sky background so emission nebulae stand out
- + 1.25 inch threads fit most eyepieces and small camera adapters
- + Low price makes it an easy first nebula filter to try
Trade-offs
- - Does little for galaxies and star clusters, which emit broad-spectrum light
- - Dims the whole view noticeably in telescopes with small apertures
