What we liked
- + Gimbal design balances long telephoto lenses for easy aiming
- + Arca-Swiss standard plate is compatible with many accessories
- + Heavy duty metal build suits large lenses and small scopes
Trade-offs
- - Gimbal heads are bulky and heavy for everyday tripod use
- - Less useful for wide-angle astrophotography than a ball head
