Price range: See on Amazon
What we liked
- + 80mm Newtonian mirror gives simple, bright lunar views for beginners
- + Adjustable tripod accommodates observers of different heights
- + Easy entry-level design for families starting with the night sky
Trade-offs
- - Wrong tool for the Sun: it has no solar filter and must never point sunward without one fitted
- - Small reflector with basic optics, so even night views are limited
