What we liked
- + Five Plossl eyepieces plus a 2x Barlow cover a wide range of magnifications
- + Included filter set lets you start experimenting with planetary contrast right away
- + One kit fills out a bare starter telescope with eyepieces, Barlow and filters together
Trade-offs
- - Eyepieces add bulk and cost that filter-only buyers do not need
- - Budget Plossl eyepieces offer narrower views than modern wide designs
